The story behind Cars & 'Q

The Cars & 'Q for the Cause event began in 2009 as a small gathering of Choate employees who loved cars, in support of Choate’s other efforts around cystic fibrosis. Over time, the show grew into what it is today - an award-winning event with over 1,000 patrons that raises money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

As we approach our 15th year of Cars & 'Q, thanks to your donations, we are honored to say over $3.8 million has been raised through the show.

To our Cars & 'Q community... Rev your engines and raise your glasses to 15 incredible years! Thank you for everything!

Honoring a Warrior

The Warrior Award is named in memory of a dear friend to Choate Construction Company and their original inspiration to fight cystic fibrosis, Leann Rittenbaum Ott.

Leann lived her life full of vibrancy, strength, positivity and wit that permeated everything she did and everyone she touched.  No matter the trials she faced living with cystic fibrosis, Leann’s intense dedication to always rise above showed itself on every occasion.

In that spirit, the Warrior Award honors a Cars & ‘Q sponsor who has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through sponsorship of the show and its mission.

The award is presented the day of the show.
